Product & Service Warranty

Metro Cabinets Inc assures that our cabinets and services are defect-free for a period of TWO years.

In situations where our cabinets or services are found to be defective, it will be repaired free of charge. Although the warranty will not apply to the customer’s use of our products, products that are found to be neglected, regular wear and tear, water damage, excessive heat, improper handling and cleaning will not be covered by warranty.

Environmental Damage: Water Damage: If your sink leaks or you leave wet towels hanging on cabinet doors and the material swells, Metro Cabinets classifies this as “improper care” rather than a defect.

Heat: Damage from being placed too close to a heat source without proper heat shields is excluded. Hood fans should be bought with the proper CFM power to extract all steam when cooking.

Cleaning: Using the wrong cleaning methods or harsh chemicals will void the warranty. Stick to a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches, cuts, and chips from everyday use (like a dropped pot) are not covered.

Installation Errors: If your contractor didn’t follow the industry standard installation instructions, the warranty is void. This also includes improper storage before installation.

If your cabinets were purchased through a contractor, they are your point of contact and should inform you of warranty information. We are not liable for any communication between the contractor and the customer. 

Adjustments of doors and drawers are a part of the homeowner’s typical maintenance. These are not a service call type of service warranty.

Replacement products may not be a perfect match to the original product due to different manufacturing processes.

A tolerance of 1/8″-3/16″ in corner-to-corner door warping is not grounds for replacement/claim.

A tolerance of 1/8″-3/8″ in cabinet fronts (doors and drawers) to account for front shrinkage and expansion is acceptable.

The warranty will be void if our supply, installation, cabinets, and services have been altered in any way.

For the warranty to be in effect, our cabinets and services must be fully paid for. For any questions, please contact us.

Supply Only:

Cabinetry that is ordered for supply only is not our responsibility for measurements, design, and other aspects of your project.

Supply only cabinet orders are to be inspected and accepted at the time of pickup/delivery. Orders will not be claimed for warranty after being signed off and have left our warehouse.

Additionally, Metro Cabinets does not provide services for adding onto existing cabinets or matching doors.
